1.45 R2 No1A New York Hero - Very hard to dismiss the chances of New York Hero who forms part of a joint entry in this race. 2 back bolted in against 50K Allowance company at Aqueduct after showing the necessary speed to lead early and when roused hitting the stretch kicked away in a very authorative performance to record a 5*1*5.7l victory in a field of 6. Can either lead here today or sit in box seat 2nd or 3rd with the run of the race. Drops in class on last start 5l 6th in Group 3 company over a shorter 7f trip. Will appreciate the step up to a route trip today and recorded a star 5f work on March 27 since last start indicating still at peak of fitness. Well bred by Partner's Hero (Danzig) out of a John Alden mare. The query is Congrats drawn extreme outside alley in this small field but New York Hero should get a better trip in transit and has slightly more upside for mine.
