I think that pretty much sums it up, not sure he left anything out. Certainly the option of paying 2%-5% is much better than basically being held at gunpoint at the local OTB windows.

If I was a trainer or associated with one I figured that would be one of the easiest ways to kill a race. Stiff a favorite, have another trainer friend stiff a low priced horse and bet with both fists in the exotics.
