Excellent flick!

But  to that awful trailer, which is basically the entire movie edited down to 2.5 minutes..

Watched it last week. Better than I thought it would be. Yesterday saw Stand Up Guys- Pacino, Walken, Arkin.

Papillion is most definitely an all time, heavy duty classic.

A good Jimmy Stewart western is always OK too:

^Just watched Prisoners last nite. Brutal, laborious movie. I didn't much like it, but I can respect it.. ;)

Interesting... It received an 88% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.1 on IMDB... I thought those ratings were on point...Outside of the storyline, I thought the acting in it was really good as well.

Personally, I'd recommend anything directed by Michael Moore, or Spike Lee.
Curl up near a nice warm fire with some popcorn and cocoa. Enjoy!

Totally agree about almost all trailers in general......Imo it would be better to just show an uncut 5 minute section of a film and let the viewer decide if it is something they would wanna see......why would we want to see major plot developments all spoiled in 2 minutes?

Both of these films kinda interest me....especially the first one as I like the cast....Frank Langella always good.

Robot and Frank was a misfire if you ask me. The parts with just the robot and Frank were amusing but didn't get a chance to develop and really go anywhere. the scenes with his kids were dull and annoying.

I just saw Elysium, I couldn't help but feel like it was 40-50 years into the future with government and affordable health care law.
