i had asked my congressman about 10 days ago for an answer and he didn't have one either. maybe because he is a rookie, but i am going to ask some older senators that might have the answer.

And, what will you think when they don't have an answer either?

Potassium Iodide is used to protect the thyroid during radiation exposure. It was issued to the folks around 3 Mile Island during the incident back when. 14 million is probably a normal order for the Government stock piles, give or take a few million. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_iodide#Thyroid_protection_due_to_nuclear _accidents_and_emergencies

Don't worry about it Lambo.

If you like, spend a half hour on google, and find yourself a quality potassium iodide source. Probably not a bad thing to have on hand, especially if you live near a nuclear power plant.
Probably not necessary either.

There's so much stuff we could worry about. Most of it is highly improbable, and if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen, - and will probably be over fast.

I'm having a hard enough time sticking to my new year's resolutions!

Or it may not be over fast.

"Last month it was revealed (http://ecowatch.com/2013/12/27/ronald-reagan-cancer-sue-tepco-fukushima-radiation/) that 71 U.S. sailors who helped during the initial Fukushima relief efforts are suing the Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO) after they returned with thyroid cancer, Leukemia, and brain tumors as a result of being exposed to radiation at 300 times the safe level."

it makes me think that they don't want me to knowShhh, quiet.. it's a dark, conspiratorial secret. That's why the Dept of Health posted the notice on the FBO website. That's actually more secret than if they never posted it at all!

Well, posting on a federal website might be the best way to keep a secret, like, um, Obama-Care's website?

Their first mistake was not securing their boarders.
