can someone tell me the closest racktrack or wagering facility to atlanta, ga?

Victoryland dog track, in Shorter Alabama...about 2 hours away directly off I-85 South from Atlanta GA. Next closest would be Birmingham dog track, about 2 and 1/2 hours away.

THATS ABOUT WHAT I THOUGHT. IS THE PLACE A DIVE AND IS IT IN A SAFE AREA, HATE TO TRAVEL WITH MONEY TO A PLACE I DON'T KNOW?

MAPQUEST SAYS 180 MILES DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT IN 2 HOURS?

Shorter is a relaxed country dog track with horse simulcasts on the top two floors, slots and a police station on the ground floor. Its an interesting mix of good old boys and college professor types( Auburn is less than 20 min from the track).
