Going to try something a bit different here. I will list my top plays for just Tampa and see if I hold a profit when the meet ends in May. I will play these selections $10 WP and see what happens.

Race -2 The :4: . Ward claimed last out hits at 25% 1st off the claim. Ships in from GP and a slight drop in company today. Probable chalk in here looks tough.

Race -5 The :5: . Ships down off the hard fought 2nd at Laurel last out for 23% shipping trainer Garcia. Slight drop in class and the shorter trip should get this one home at 7/2 on the line.

Race -6 The :5: . Bennett teams up with the hot riding De La Cruz in here. 20% dirt trainer drops this one down a bit and should sit a good trip in here. 4-1 feels about right.

Race -7 The :5: Another Laurel shipper for the Garcia team here. Showed some rare speed in last run but would be better off to revert to stalking tactics of old vs these. 2 works at Tampa for this at 4-1 on the line.

Just a suggestion. In my experience, I've found that PLACE bets don't return much on favorites or second favorites. You'd be better off, in my opinion, betting WIN only, in those cases. If you look back over your bets and recalculate those bets with a win only bet, you'd see your NET would be higher. Of course, no one expects you to change tactics midstream. If you did that, all of your choices would come in second!
