He hit the ground hard and got kicked from a trailing horse while riding the #1 Second Lion in Race 6 . Thoughts to Melancon, lets hope he's going to be ok here.

Thankfully, Gerard looks like he's going to be just fine. Unfortunately, the horse he was riding- Second Lion- had to be put down. My partners and I owned him. He fractured his knee, a terrible injury. We had just claimed him out of his last race- we had owned him before and had him claimed away. Very sound horse with a good disposition. Tough game this is. RIP Second Lion.

Condolences Driver, that's a rough part of the game. Glad to hear G Money will be ok, sometimes jocks fall like that and don't get up, always scary to see that type of spill.
