Im just finding this forum section, thanks for creating it. I daytrade, no investing at the moment..flat at the end of the day. I trade stocks, options and futures.

Options and futures: don't they, by their very nature, require a day trader's attitude/approach?

They can be both a daytrading approach and a swing trading approach..all depends on the trader's individual style. Options have time decay to deal with whether its weekly or monthly. Futures overnight margin rates go up, some drastically.
