If you bet 956 horses and get 162 winners your win percentage is
about 17% not 32%.

Hitting 32% of races is good at one horse per race, but at almost two
horses per race your winning percentage should move to above 50%.

Money,

I have stated this in the past as far as I am concerned with what is a "PLAY" for me. A play constitutes $4.00. It's $2.00 to Win and Place on 1 horse OR $2.00 to Win on 2 horses! In either case it's a $4.00 play. This is in my very 1st post of my threads. That play then is is either counted as a Win - Place - Show for percentages. I want to know how I do against each race I play with my Selection(s). I am playing against the race and not against each horse.
That's just the way I want to keep score for me. However, with that being said ... all the monies are accounted for regardless. The Profits and losses are correct no matter how you look at it. As long as that's correct it really doesn't matter how you look at it for your personal needs and wants of record keeping.
