Kind of hard to believe everything the "disappearing horse leg" guy is saying, but I'm sure there is some truth to it.

I'm not very techy, but it looks like it's because it's a WMA (Windows Media Audio) file. Some of these links might help.

"cheating is the main variable in racing" Mike Gill

he basically got thrown out of Penn National because he couldn't be controlled with his private farm.

The interviews are the best part of Roger's show.

Mike Gill has also declared that his day job, (the mortgage business) is laden with fraud, and challenged regulators and competitors there the same way he is in horse racing. I guess I'm not magnanimous like Mr. Gill, I would spend 90% of my time and money on wine and woman, and the other 10% I could waste.

One of the most popular threads on PA in its history with over 60,000 views, deals with Mike Gill. Enjoy.

I have been hearing the Roger Stein Show for many moons and enjoy

The third try with Mike Gill and John Hardoon finally got their act together.

The Roger Stein Show is a first class show and far better then any other radio racing show.
Roger presents interesting insights and interviews that are unequaled for a show of this type.

I really knew that. Glad you took it the intended way.

I know it made me look at the keyboard to see how far apart those 2 keys were to see if wandering fingers were the culprit.

As I said, Rogers interviews are the best part of that show, he mentioned the other day about going through his collection of old tapes. Now if I could get a copy of the times he had Eddie Arcaro as a guest, I'd want to get those.

( as Roger puts it, for some reason Eddie Arcaro in his last years grabbed onto him & would call in every so often )

One of the things Roger (RIP) did was staunchly defend his
long time friend Mr Baffert. His response to anything unusual
about Baffert's results, injuries, etc was that BB was so
successful, why would he resort to using drugs and jeopardize his
reputation and business. You can apply your own insight into
that circuitous and ironic logic.

Regarding Mr Stein's interviews which were the best part of the show.
He tended to do interviews in one of 3 ways.
1) if he liked you, his questions were very close to softball
2) if he didn't like you, his questions were contentious
3) almost all of his questions were long winded soliloquies
which were either designed to show how smart Roger was
or basically frame the question in a way that made it so the
interviewee had very little to add or very difficult
or awkward for them to disagree.
