The Lady in Red

Has anyone ever heard of the "Lady in Red" and this is not about the song. When I worked for a trainer at Keeneland some years ago. the word on the backstretch that particular year was the the "Lady in Red" was in town to cash a gamble. She was reported to be a professional horse player who traveled the country.

I have heard of her. Wasn't she somehow connected to some bridgejumping action a while back? I think in Maryland?

I guess every segment of society has a mysterious lady, usually in red, in their urban legends. I'm goint to set my wife up in the dress shop business calling it "Lady in Red" and only sell fancy old style red dresses!
