Northfield Park and Hard Rock Casino are set to open a newly constructed "Rocksino" on December 18. It is a huge, attractive facility housing over 2,000 VLTs, multiple restaurants and theaters to feature high profile entertainers. One little problem---The new "Rocksino" is not structurally attached to the race track. Northfield runs year round but "Rocksino" patrons will be required to leave the facility to participate in the racing. So much for promoting racing!!
