Just another example of the Republican war on women.

Oh, wait. No, Palin is a Republican. What's wrong with this picture?

Palin is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but why does that justify idiots like this moron and Letterman and Matthews and the rest making personal attacks? God knows she is vulnerable enough on her knowledge of the issues. Why not take the high road and stick to the issues?

And he didn't do the honorable thing. He acted in a manner that was too sleazy even for MSNBC and they fired him. Period. The delay and the apology and the rest is window dressing. They threw him overboard. He tried to sweeten it up in an attempt to save his career. But what's left for you in the media if you are too slimy for MSNBC?

Names or it never happened.

It never happened. I was being sarcastic. The people at Fox News do not make personal attacks, and are nowhere near as biased as the left makes them out to be. The liberals confuse the news shows on Fox with the opinion shows on Fox. Hannity and others make no pretense of being non-partisan. But I don't recall seeing any of them making personal attacks except in response to personal attacks.

Here's a few "personal attacks" from the saints at FOX News:
______________________________________

How about Glenn Beck (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/28/fox-host-glenn-beck-obama_n_246310.html) calling President Obama a racist with a "deep-seated hatred" for either white people or white culture? Did anyone at Fox ever apologize for that disgusting remark? Au contraire, I remember Sean Hannity validating (http://www.newshounds.us/2010/03/10/hannity_supports_glenn_becks_assessment_that_obama _is_a_racist.php) Beck on that score. I don't recall O'Reilly calling out Beck, either. In fact, he and Beck had a road show (http://www.boldfreshtour.com/bold-fresh-tour-info.html) going on afterward. In June 2012, after Beck left Fox, O'Reilly consulted him (http://www.newshounds.us/o_reilly_consults_glenn_beck_for_insights_into_oba ma_s_outreach_to_african_americans_06122012) about President Obama's outreach to African Americans.

And how about Fox host Andrea Tantaros (http://www.newshounds.us/andrea_tantaros_do_me_a_favor_and_punch_an_obama_s upporter_in_the_face_05232013) telling her radio show listeners, "Do me a favor" and punch an Obama supporter "in the face?" That's arguably worse than anything Bashir said. But I haven't heard a peep of apology from her or anyone else at Fox News about it. Have you?

Plus, there's Ann Coulter. She went even further and "joked" about murdering Meghan McCain (http://www.newshounds.us/fox_helps_rehab_ann_coulter_after_joking_about_kil ling_meghan_mccain_04122013) on Fox. Not only was it tolerated, she appeared on Hannity tonight (http://video.foxnews.com/v/2855112443001/ann-coulter-on-bashirs-massive-overreaction-to-palin/?playlist_id=940325739001) to discuss Bashir. I didn't have the stomach to watch her but if she wasn't held up as a legitimate critic, I'll send someone a free News Hounds t-shirt if they send me the proof.

You doubt this?
His Reverend, his wife ashamed of America, typical white people, police over-reacting, fundamentally change America......

I'd say the evidence is there.
Maybe I could agree that deep seated is an exaggeration, but that is about it.

That pales in comparison to what that pig said. Political aside, the man is a pig and has some serious mental issues. What he said in public was reprehensible.
He should be given a fine.

Wow, a tempest in a teapot. I specifically differentiated between Fox News shows and opinion shows. None of the vicious examples involve people from the news side. Most involve guests who don't have their own opinion shows on Fox. Beck did not work for Fox in any way. And some of those examples are so clearly satirical as to be laughable in this discussion. And I don't care. I haven't watched Fox opinion shows in years, so I was just speaking off the cuff. So sue me.

And I saw nothing to contradict the fact that MSNBC is light years sleazier than any other "news" outlet.

Just because it's true doesn't mean you can say it out loud.

Under this post-racial, post-partisan, transparent administration, pointing out the racism of minorities is racist.

I wish that they'd just let him keep his job since nobody saw it anyway before all of this and then just have everyone agree to a moratorium on pretending to be all offended anytime there's an opportunity.

But, unfortunately, once you've decided that the phrase "women in binders" is offensive, it's a little hard to put that genie back in the bottle.

Martin Bashir's show was obscene political commentary, unlike Hannity's & O'Reilly's.

Hannity is a mindless cheerleader and O'Reilly is a blowhard overly impressed with his own intellect, but Bashir makes them both look like statesmen in comparison.

Is Glenn Beck not entitled to believe that 0bama is a racist? I don't think he's the only person in America who feels that way. At least he had the balls to actually say what he believed. And when you take a close look at 0bama's political appointments and examine some of his policies, that belief isn't as far fetched as one would think.

As for the Tanteros comment, she was clearly joking. If you want to talk about REAL physical assaults, there are plenty on the Democrat side (all captured on video) that have gone unpunished.

And as for Coulter, she too was joking. But there have been many real assassinations done by - yep - 0bama himself. Drone attacks that have killed children qualify as assassinations.

Clearly, everything the left accuses the right of SAYING is DONE TENFOLD by the left.

Obama doesn't lie. He does occasionally miscalibrate. (Or the teleprompter does.) When that happens, he immediately expresses his sorrow that people misunderstood him, and explains that he got the policy right, but just didn't do a good enough job of communicating it.

Airplanes can be shot down and the people flying them could be captured, put on trial and executed for war crimes. With drones, no such possibility exists. They are like video games with a nameless killer operating the joystick.

He is certainly a lot better off than the president who is tag-team hen-pecked by Michelle and Valerie Jarrett. Yeah, I think it is safe to say that I'm far from a Palin fan.

But, they had some crappy reality show on a few years ago where pseudo-celebrities had to work with members of the military and basically operate as though they were on a mission.

I only caught a few episodes (because the show basically sucked and was merely in the house when it was on) but the standout by a furlong was Todd Palin. I knew nothing about the guy beforehand, but the guy was fairly unbelievable. He carried his team through the physically grueling aspect of the mission and was basically indistinguishable from the actual military that were supposed to be the team leaders.

There is only one thing I actually really remember from that terrible show and it was that Todd Palin is pretty friggin' badass.
