8YO Sushiwood was making 2nd start off layoff/race/layoff/race pattern,
& was 1/5 fave when throwing rider in post parade & running halfway
round the oval. Left in to run, they loaded into gate, only to have gate
malfunction. Re-load, & run. Horse Wins like Big Red @Belmont.
After having +$7K in win pool, he crosses wire with +$4,700, &
backers get 2/1 instead of 1/2. Many say money was pulled because
of running loose; i say no money came out during 1st gate load, only
when race was run to inflate final off odds. Anyone have win pool
tracker by MTP or actual by minute breakdown? Thanks in advance.

The cash grabbers have built-in excuse with horse running off
pre-race, but unless my Win pool #'s were delayed coming online,
no cash was removed for 3 min.after run-off. if you see something
like that occur & have doubts, why would you wait until gates are
being loaded to yank part/all of your bet?
