My son's machine came with Win 8....I dont use it so when he needs help it is a major struggle. It is not intuitive (at least not to me)

Heard on a diff thread about some sort of Classic Shell program that gives it WIN 7 look/feel. Anyone have experience? Where do I get it?
Thx!

Classic Shell (http://www.classicshell.net/) It's free, so try it out and see if you like it.

Some people prefer the Stardock version: Start8 (http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/). Some people prefer Start8, and it's only $5.

A co-worker really likes the Classic Shell. I've not used it.

Why not (for a Christmas Gift), just take it into a computer tech, and install Win7 ?
