This is going to get ugly. I don't think Rove can win. He thinks he can win with money. Not sure how that is going to work out.

I can understand Rove's desire to try to promote electable candidates, but being electable and having a competent understanding of business, economics, long term budget issues and having good ethics etc.. don't exactly mesh very well these days.

They should put up the smartest, most principled, most ethical etc.. candidate and make the case the best they can. Then hope the American people are smart enough to understand it all.

If hope were horses we'd all ride.

You put up candidates that can win elections, period.

The idea is to run on your principles.
That escapes Rove.

We get the shit we vote for, so don't holler when you are wallowing in it.

Ideas don't win elections.

Good point. Democrats would agree with you. ;)

Kay Hagan is beatable...
But not by a tea party candidate.

Has anyone ever used the words democrat and principles in the same sentence?

Too bad they are NESTLE's Crunches! ba dum.Sorry neither McCain nor Christie are democrats. They would not feel very much at home with us liberal pro-choice, pro-worker, government-can-make-a-difference-for-the-better democrats. They should stay over there with you conservative, no-choice, anti-worker, Somalia-has-the-best-government-ever, commie-behind- every-tree republicans.

Is this a trick question?
