Gelded

Does anyone follow or keep track of horses that have recently been gelded?
I started keeping a list at So. Cal. tracks and I have noticed that it usually takes about 2-3 outs or a month before the newly gelded horse starts to show improvement.
One of these horses on my list, Xtreme Success, lost a heart breaker at 42/1 about a month after being gelded.

Now I'm setting my self up here...But what is the purpose of Gelding act?

If a filly is in the race and she is in "heat" nobody will pass her, take away his "boys" and he doesn't care anymore. Funny thing after gelding, his voice doesn't change.

I thought the trainer would geld the horse after a loss and say "you'll get em back if you start winnin!"
And the funny thing was after they win,they get an excuse"oh ,sorry I left em in my other pants"....
