The good thing about starting now is that I have less races to lose money but the bad thing is if I get on a roll, it will end too quick.

Race 8
Look no farther than the top three post positions. I just got burned on front end specialists last night and have not seen the races tonight to know if they the speed is holding up or not.

Taking a swing for the fences with the (# 2) Ideal Carver who seems to have enough speed to hold his position in line and be first over when the front end comes back to him. Use the (# 1) and (# 3) in the exotics.

Ex
2/1,3
1,3/2

Not being first over got him locked in as the first over horse (# 4) locked him inside and he had to wait for the passing lane. These beasts of burden are not electric cars with power at the ready, they have to be geared up. Oh well.

Burkentine Hanover (# 7) 3/1
This horse has over 50 percent win percentage this season (7 of 13 starts). If there is one horse on the horizon that might offer resistance check out Kehmmywood (# 2), a play on words that use the owners last name George Kehm and the train park turned amusement park Kennywood (near the city of Pittsburgh). Besides the name sake, has been right there at the end of all the miles when raced here since shipping up from the Meadows. Really think if there is one to beat Burkentine, Kehmmywood might be the one.

The driver of Kemmy Wood (and not pronounced Kehm My Wood as the announcer stated ) decided to not leave for position and sat 4th while the one you have to beat left hard and took the lead. The (# 5) left too and took a seat. I should have expected it as Burke (trainer of the winner #5) has a lot more horses than Kehm's back at the Meadows, hence the less than aggressive drive. The favorite gets beat with the two hole trip and I failed to pick the right one to sit in the pocket. If anyone knows how to contact Yonkers about the pronunciation of a horse, please forward the above. Kenny Wood is the place where we all have our school and community picnics every year. Kemmy Wood is the way it should sound.

Big Art (# 4) looks to be driven aggressively with Brennan starting from the (# 8) hole. Another one to watch out for is Tulfra (# 2) with Sears up.

I really see Brennan trying to get to the front or find a seat. In past years, I could pretty much guess who would be giving the guy a hole but being away from it for a long while now, it would only be a stab in the dark. I just think George is leaving hard and looking for seat.

If that is the case, Big Art (# 4) will become the power broker as he should be behind George and come first up forcing Brennan's hand. I think Sears might be on the engine. It appears in my mind that the (# 2) will have the lead with the (# 8) and (# 4) going the overland route. If I knew who the person giving the seat was, that one should be in the two hole behind Sears.

I see the final as 4-2-8-seat giving horse at the line.

I missed a race...hence I changed the race to the 11th...me bad

Cheynenne Reider (# 2) has both the best driver in Brennan and trainer /owner in the Burke stable. Hard to pick against this combination from the inside post.

River Run For Ryan (# 6) seems the logical choice for the underpart of the exotic wagers. I really hole Bartlett tries to come from behind and not leave for a seat as he might get hung the mile.

Bakken (# 5) gets a call for a minor award as he seems to have enough speed for position and benefit late in the mile...

Every now and then a blind squirrel finds a nut. Although the trip did not pan out as I envisioned as Bartlett jetted to the lead changing those that had plans for the lead to back off except the (# 5) who was favored. Taking a two hole trip was the way to win using the passing lane after the (# 5) was tired of fighting off the (# 6) who went first over. THe (# 7) put in a huge late rush that bodes well for his next start.

brennan wasted no time to gain the lead and then released the (# 3) to take a pocket trip to Comic Book Hero. Though he the trip, the Hero was too much. Good night.
