10th@Mountaineer: 6F F&M Clm5000N3L ~purse $8,600 ~ 11/12/13
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two class droppers, one off an 84-day layoff, figure to dominate
the tote action. Two step up off N2L Win when debuting locally.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) In Short Order (8/1 ML)~ WV-Bred gets huge rider upgrade.
Oro has no option but to gun from get-go, but likely won't outrun...
2) Darting (5/2 ML Fave)~ Unless 3YO repeats bad break, may
find herself on somewhat EZ lead early. Horse to beat on drop.
3) Miss Guchi (30/1)~ 3YO Adds 110Y,& 3% Jock. Can't endorse.
4) Torbo's Bank (3/1)~ Private Purchase shipper drops, returns
to dirt. One 4F Work in Glacier :54.4 smoke screen or red flag?
5) Feelsgoodonmylips (6/1)~ Tasty win in local debut. Stalker
should get dream trip, but 36 Best Beyer from last not so sweet.
6) Wiseman's Woman (20/1)~ 5YO is 2/33, best Beyer? 35.
Wise Women Warn Win Wager Wicked Wobbly Idea.
7) Mi Margerita (20/1)~ 58-Day w/No Works. Runner's best
Asset Parker picking up mount. Mi Say No.
8) Smart & Suave (6/1)~ Crafty Win 2 back, closed Ok for
place last out. If 3YO's fail to Fire, lightly-raced 5YO has shot.
9) Being Frugal (9/2)~ Private Purchase/Trainer Change off a
Win seldom pays quick dividends. Seems Underlay @ML odds.
10) Fifty Avenue (15/1)~ 259-Day layoff + 3 works for 5YO,
Another Pvt.Pchs/Tr.Change to hot trainer. Poor post/rider.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: Pair of 3YO's seem to hold the Aces in this event.
One likely speed of race, other proven stalker. Beyond that pair,
only 4 runners seem to have legit chance to improve enough for
upset: #'s 5-8-9-10.
Good Luck to ALL, & See You at Night School!

9th@Mountaineer: 6F 3YO's- Soph.Sprint Champ. Purse $85,000 ~ 11/12/13
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1)Musicinthehouse (15/1 ML)~ Stalker outgunned vs. new faces.
2) Gunderson (30/1)~ Dr.Hansen's Homebred JBM vs. $50K Mcl.
@Keeneland. Nice horse gets pace, may move forward 2nd off layoff.
3) Smash and Grab (7/2)~ Turf-2-Dirt & 550-Y cutback for
Stakes-Proven Delaware Invader. 28% Trainer, CT Jock comes in to ride.
4) Black Hornet (3/1)~ Woodbine Speedball ran HUGE in only
Fast Dirt track try,a G3. Speed-of-Speed? Early pace could be brutal.
5) Patrick S. (9/2)~ Penn-Bred comes in w/ Solid Form & winning
connections. Gets Sponge-Worthy Test w/ Bullet 5F Work in :58.2.
6) Take It Like A Man (5/2 ML Fave)~ Two-turns to One off of
37-day break w/ FOUR Works since! Stalk'n Pounce tactic fit well.
7) Go Duke Go (12/1)~ Mountain-Lover faces open foes in
Razor sharp form. Backers won't have to love chalk tonight!
8) First Frost (20/1)~ WV-Bred overmatched here.
9) In The Fairway (6/1)~ Two turns-2-One for WV-Bred that
owns most wins in field. Picks Up 4lbs, tough post, & tougher foes.
Seems like a (sand) trap at ML odds.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: Respect The Shippers! i think 2-3-4-5-6 could all
win depending on early pace, late scratches. I'll stick with stalkers,
ML Fave & A JBM, 2&6. Good Luck to ALL, & See You at Night School!
