Mike Hamilton CLASS ACT

Mike is the guy @ Woodbine you see on the tv making his picks and talking about the horses racing. I went to Woodbine over the weekend with my wife and met him. What a class act he is a total gentelman. He is a very down to earth guy. I sent him a few emails a couple weeks before we arrived. He responded within a few minutes and was very helpful with a variety of things like were to stay and things to do around the Toronto area. He gave me and my wife a shout out on the air (4th race) celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. He also took us on a complete tour of the track including letting us watch the last race on sat nite from way up above in the judges booth and and took us thru all the HPI stuff. We went into a room called the Munnings room were there are some paintings by John Munnings one was worth 3 million dollars. I hope I can make it back to see him before he calls it quits in two years to go travel the world. It has been his dream since he was about 18 years old. I probably have forgot some other stuff he did for us on our visit. I just wanted everyone to know what a great guy he is and to say thanks again for making our trip a HUGE sucess. I will be posting some pictures of our trip if anyone is interested in a few days got some great pictures of stuff like the 3 million dollar Munnings painting.

Not only do I have the utmost respect for his harness racing knowledge, I have found him to be a class act, as well. Living in Buffalo, about an hour and a half from Mohawk, I make the drive up there for many of the big Grand Circuit races. Mike is always friendly and willing to share tips and insight. Great guy, nice to hear about your wonderful experience!
