I saw earlier this month, that War Front's stud fee for 2014 rose to $150K (up from $115K). There can't be many sires that are more highly sought after than this fellow right now, considering his propensity to produce high quality offspring that can run on any surface, and often possess a fine balance of speed and stamina. Coolmore will certainly be bullish after Declaration Of War's fine showing today at Santa Anita.
War Front turns 12 next year, young for a stallion.
His initial fee was $12,500, and I have to doubt that his current one has peaked.
Nice to see Danzig's influence maintained, with more success very likely in the future.
