Picks for Aqueduct Sunday:
R1 - #1 Verve-Barn does well with FTS. Good spot for debut, nothing in this field looks that imposing.
R2 - #5 Second Collection-Caught some tough fields in last two. Hasn’t missed a beat in the am and drops to all time low.
R3 - #3 Gold Vault-Has proven herself at the distance, something the ML fav has not. Will probably control the pace here.
R4 - #7 Karakorum Rock-Blinkers go on, bug boy stays on. Hoping he can establish a clear early lead then cross your fingers.
R5 - #5 Ungoverned-Makes first start for superior barn. Trainer/jock doing well
R6 - #1 Mt Vernon Rd-Showed big time early speed last time. Makes the big drop to mcl, if Gryder can open up he may be long gone. 12/1 and I’m on him.
R7 - #7 Fly with Karakorum-ML fav doesn’t look THAT good. Hoping this one can establish an uncontested lead here.
R8 - #6 Butterface-Should get the lead in here. One turn mile right up her alley.
R9 - #7 Connie’s Magic-I think he will find the pace to his liking. Should make an impact in this field.
