Which sports books in Las Vegas have you found to offer the greatest variety of harness tracks for wagering?

I think most, if not all, race books offer harness racing in the evening since it complements thoroughbred racing during the day. I haven't been to most of the race books but I always see harness racing in the evening along with a few disappearing dog tracks.

Guess I didn't answer your question. I haven't noticed any difference in the number or variety of harness tracks running in the race books.

I can't specifically answer your question either, but YR, Meadowlands, Nfld, Philly, and BmlP/May are staples pretty much wherever you go. I sometimes have seen Pocono and Dover. Any other track, unless I'm forgetting someone, is going to be tough to find anywhere.

Not once have a found a racebook that posts their upcoming simulcast schedule online. I know horse racing is just a drop in the bucket for the casinos, but most casinos do have a page on their site promoting the race/sports book, and it would seem pretty easy to put a link on the page with the week's schedule.

Traynor, I stayed at Mandalay Bay last year, and have been to Bellagio and The Mirage for harness during that stint, and they all offered most any harness track that you could think of...

Mandalay Bay was great, as were all, but I liked the quietness of the Bay best of all...A good place, MB has everything that you would ever need without ever leaving the place, if that is what you like....

Not sure about all of the Station casinos, but Sunset Station prints a list of the coming weeks simulcast schedule, its on the side of where todays racing sheets are located. Sunset usually has a few harness tracks each night, depending on who is running, but I have played Northfield,Yonkers, Meadowlands there before.

I know most of them print sheets... I just don't understand why they don't put them online, to save people some effort.

I have run into the same problem--the casinos all seem to say "We have harness races!" and they always seem to be the tracks I don't bet (at that time). Most of the time I am in Vegas I play blackjack or baccarat, and that pretty much fills the time. However, I am seriously considering a month of so in Vegas before Miami later in the winter. (No, I am not a millionaire playboy--I go there to work hard at separating the tracks and casinos from the money to cover my expenses and perhaps a few dollars extra.)

I, too, have a hard time understanding why the casinos do not have a simulcast schedule online. It isn't that hard to do. It makes a huge difference if a person specializes in specific tracks, finds they are not available at one casino, and ends up chasing madly from place to place to make bets.

Why don't I just bet online? I work with computers all day, every day. I go to Vegas to get away from them. Betting online would be like staying home.

Anyway, this seems an interesting area to explore, and I will see what I can find out in the next couple of weeks. I was going to Seattle, but they don't have harness races available at all. Lots of thoroughbred races, but no harness. Vancouver has a great simulcast schedule (Fraser Downs and others), but not Seattle.

Thanks for the responses. I will post whatever I can find when I find it. I am embarassed to admit that I have never set foot in the sports book at Bellagio's, despite having spent considerable time there. Mandalay Bay sounds like just what I am looking for. I like quiet.
