Commit a felony resulting in political intimidation and physical assault by lefties and get away with it.

No confidence in Eric Holder

I'd like to know who was physically assaulted.

Aside from that, I agree the IRS agent should go to jail. Losing his job is bad but that's not enough. Other IRS employees have to know in no uncertain terms that unauthorized disclosure of tax information will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Here's what the law says:

Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable upon conviction by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution, and if such offense is committed by any officer or employee of the United States, he shall, in addition to any other punishment, be dismissed from office or discharged from employment upon conviction for such offense.

Personally, I can understand why a gay employee or a gay sympathizer would be motivated to do what this person did. But that doesn't mean you should not go to jail.

I agree. I also believe that donors and donations to PAC's, to any political cause should be public information. Using private funds to influence public policy is undemocratic.

MY 2 cents - limit all contributions to $100 per person per election.
No contributions by other than private citizens - no corporations, no union, no organizations......single payer.

Candidate must detail every penny from the time they get it to the time they spend it. As a single person, I can donate a total of $100 per year, divided by however many candidate I choose, but no more that the $100.

You really think he put a stop to it? I don't. That's one of those things that's easy to say but impossible to prove. Even if it was later found to still be going on, one can always blame the "rogue" NSA employee so as not to appear to be lying.
