run promotions and make the place friendly to fans and you get people to the facility. even though those people are probably not the biggest bettors, i am sure they do a great job consuming beer and hot dogs.
they do a great job finding sponsors and having events like millitary day, college day, a real good one in make a wish day.
Canterburry Park did a lot of the same type of things and also increased for the year and their horses aren't as good.
i swear people are finding slot machines and casino games boring and are dying to go see race tracks get their acts together.
