A injury ravaged Patriot team was down and out vs these guys 17-3 and the 2nd half started and you would think Bruschi and Vrabel came back from the dead. Miami has terrible body language, its obvious they have zero heart, Bill and Tom are in their domes big time.

They are a very weak team, with a lot of roster holes, and mediocre coaching and front office.

They are basically cheap claimers with low% barns/jocks.

The Patriots have a dream division.
6 of their games every year are Miami/Jets/Buffalo.

That should be 5 wins and help for home playoff teams.

You can say the league loves this, as NE is one of their flagship teams, but unless you believe the league is offering disincentive to the Fins/Jets/Bills[the Jets almost seemed like it, when they went with Sanchez and then gave him a new contract, conspiracy theorists could say that was a move to put a latino QB in the media market while still giving the Pats 2 free wins a year, but I'm not that extreme), it also seems they are just really incompetent organizations.

Couldnt agree more, the Pats are in this division, its similar to the Boston Bruins walking to the playoffs in the weak division (NHL has new format this season) year after year. If N.E. Had to battle Pitt and Balto twice every year in the last decade, there's no way they would be held in as high of a regard as they're currently held. They have gotten to rest players at will, they never lose the division, they usually are able to get at least 1 home game in the playoffs and if they win the overall conference record, they get 2 home games as huge favorites before the super bowl...and, in recent times, they've choked away a few of those huge favorite home games to teams like the Jets and Ravens.

They lost a top O lineman today to injury, sounded bad, he might be out for an extended period, so that makes them have another elite player who's down and out.

If Miami, the Jets and Buffalo would just show some real heart, they could beat these guys. Today was a great example of a team who was badly coached, had no leadership whatsoever and "losing" body language.

Vrabel is alive and well. He's the defensive line-linebackers coach for

"The Ohio State Buckeyes"

Pats lost an O Lineman ?
that could be tough.

Great coaching, and system that accepts changes, and group of guys that play together well - all help minimize, but only so many leaks you can plug...

RG3 and the Skins also buncha clowns, they had a 21-7 lead and they're going to not only lose, but they have no chance to cover. They may lose by 30.

These games can't possibly turn like they do unless there told to make them turn

its incredible, New England and Denver essentially had no chance to cover at points in their games and both will cover easily.

The NFL's "new rules" that create offense are watering down the game, its not nearly as fun to watch, give me the NFL of the 1970s and 1980s anyday.

Patriots never cease to amaze me. They have nothing yet they win. But, they'll lose in the Playoffs this year and there will be other good opportunities to bet against them because they're not that good.

Totally agree. Also, a huge factor imo is that in some of the games they win, like today, its teams that are intimidated by Brady and Belichick who just sort of "roll over" and act like they have no chance....its the teams who "arent scared" of New England that have great success.

There's no Wilfork, no Mayo and a lot of their other guys are banged up, teams have to go into there and act like they are much the best and slam the ball in N.E's face, yet, teams go in there with their tail (or fin) between their legs and that's why they make these Pats look so good.

Yep, this team had another (winning year) 8-8  because that's as good as it gets for this very average team that breaks their fans heart every year. Now all we have to look forward to is the Marlins to be a little better team this year, Painful to be a sports fan in Miami right now with 3 teams that cant top 500 %.......I'm not happy

The key is this.

Hang out on South Beach watching the baby dolls and drinking pina coladas instead. Following the sports teams now that Lebron is gone are minutes, hours and days you could never get back. As least this Aroson guy and Pat Riley make a huge attempt to win, these guys aren't playing around so a fan of the Heat is a really good thing, you can't win every year, but you know that the ownership group is serious about winning. Can't say as much for the Fins and the Marlins and that NHL team they have too.

Horrible incompetent job by Ryan and Idzik(sp?).

I know some fans like Ryan, but while I can excuse the occasional short-term mishap, the long-term strategy was awful.

QB is the most important position.
The Jets were like watching some 5% trainer CONTINUALLY run a bottom-level claimer at 35K.

Sanchez never had what it takes to be a competent NFL quarterback, yet they promoted him in the media, and re-signed him, and failed to bring in competition.
Geno Smith never had what it takes to be an NFL quarterback, yet they continue to promote him in the media.

Inefficient franchise, and hard for me personally to watch.

How do you think we feel? Oilers and Texans have been doing it to us for nearly 50 years. Aside from one trip to the World Series, the Astros haven't fared much better.

At least you had the back-to-back NBA World Champ Rockets, though Jordan had to play baseball for those two years for it to be possible.....
