I am happy to share my "LIVE" selections with you.
All of my plays are to be played to Win and/or Place only!
However if you like to play Exotics these are Great Keys!
I am a Tote board Reader. I have designed & developed my own software program that operates in real time with "Live" Tote Feeds. I use the Money Pools to handicap, I use nothing else to aid me in my handicapping what-so-ever. I am a Volume Player, I play many races thru the day!
I may play 2 horses in a race! This is called "Dutch" Wagering on 2 or more horses to Win in the same race!

I will post the selections as soon as I can!
This may vary from say 5 min to post to almost post time, so be ready!... as they are "Live"!
I will NEVER past post. Play at your own Risk!...
Remember to Re-fresh your page right before post time if you do not see my selection!

I also from time to time will give an "UPDATE!" on all my plays, Profits/Losses and ROI as time permits between races.
All Profits & Losses will be based on a $2.00 per wager to Win and/or Win & Place, then you can just multiply it by whatever you like to wager per play!

How to use my posted selections information!



This posted information on my selections is Free for anyone who chooses to use it.
Please be responsible in how you use it. Please Play at Your OWN RISK!

These selections are money horses being played in the money pools. I try to post the selections that are getting action in one way or another in my calculations of the tote. If these match up with what you Handicap with then you may want to play it.
You do NOT need to play every race! You may just want to play the races you like that you feel match up with my selections. This IS just that, Information! Use it how often and how you like with your own style of handicapping or whatever else you use to handicap the horses with!

You also need to be very organized and attentive in this fast paced last minute posting by me. Again, KNOW your post times of each track! I can't stress this enough, this will keep you in line with the pace in which I post my selections. Please re-fresh your page often to get my selections around post time! Don't worry if you get shut out at times it's all part of this world I play in!

Not entirely true. I have recapped both Winning and losing days. However, with that being said there is some truth to that as well. I don't always keep track of my recaps when I get frustrated. Also. I believe I am the only one in here who even keeps a running result of each race after my posted selection on how they run. I mean it's not like no one can go back and tally them up if they so wish to. I don't see that from too many players posts here except for maybe 1 or 2 consistently. I have also observed that when I have posted a bad day it allows all the boo birds and negativity of some haters to give them a door to walk through and speak up ONLY when I do lose. So therefore, they are welcome to go through and add them up if they wish which is at least more than some others can offer up from their posted selections. I just avoid negativity, drama and controversy as much as I possibly can. With that being said, there are always those who like to stir the pot to see what they can do to make it stink! Just my observations not only here but all forums over the many years I have been posting!
Just watch and see what this post does for further comments! ;)

result: :1::4::3::7:. Lost $4.30. I was wrong about the 5. I agree that the pomposity of the presentation invites ridicule and perhaps dislike. Also, the method of selection is unconventional and the wagers sometimes seem to take a shotgun approach.

That being said, there is room in this world for different methods of selection and wagering. I see no one really being hurt by his unconventional methods. If you don't like the graphics, you can read a different thread or turn them off at the forum level. If you don't like that he boxed five out of six horses in a race for the trifecta, bet the :7: horse (which won, by the way).

I think it would be wonderful if we could easily see if someone's picks for a day (or week, or month) were or were not profitable, but I think requiring it would limit the contributions to this forum and thus be counterproductive. A few folks do provide rundowns and summaries. Many tell us just when they win or lose. Others, you have to decipher the wagering instructions and then look up the results yourself. While I would love to not have to do that, I like the fact that many are willing to share their selections here.

While I would not be in favor of requiring everyone to post detailed summaries, I also think it would be quite unfair to single out U.S. to be required to do this. Then, we would also have folks auditing him to see if he mistyped something (I did see a few typos in the gazillions of posts we've received). If we are trying to restrict U.S. from posting, then restrict him, let's not play games with special rules.

I think the post from PA says it all. The rundowns are a bit anemic when he has a bad day. When I have a bad day, I don't like to talk about it either. Maybe there are forum members who are the opposite, but I would think most of us are like that.

If you want to follow his threads, follow them. If you want a rundown, you can be assured that when he has had a bad day he will not have graphics and large fonts crowing about it and you will need to total it yourself.

While I have wondered about the net results of a bad day, personally, I am a bit more intrigued when these picks are working.

It's hard, and probably not advised, but it can work.
People box 4 horses in an exacta all the time.
You would need at least 1 live longshot in your 5 that you feel has a good chance to hit the board.
The main issue for me would be the $120 outlay.

For the short amount of time I've look in to see how he is doing (depends on if I'm surfing or not) he readly admits when he is tanking. Not too long ago he pulled the plug early because he was on the losing end of an uphill battle. I think the last trifecta gig wasn't the best showing either (I think I might have mention something about it as well).

While perhaps not everyones cup o tea I like his positive attitude. That and he is just playing the ponies and not slinging mud. :ThmbUp:

There are plenty who box four horses in an exacta, many who would never play so many, and some who will only play them if all horses are above certain odds. The difference with an exacta, though, is that we generally can see the probables for the payouts. We are somewhat "flying blind" with trifectas.

That being said, I do not know the selection criteria being used here and, though I know the process is more complicated than this, have frequently seen the top five betting interests offered for the trifecta.

In the race referenced, the top four horses were the :8:,:6:,:3: and :10:. The :1: horse made the difference there as it was the 7th ranked betting interest. The payoff might have been even higher had it not been passed in the stretch by the :10:.

Were this a more conventional selection method, I would surmise that the wager was constructed around the :1: horse and that the other four were added to complete the trifecta. If that were true, I would have eliminated any wagers where the :1: was not in one of the top three spots.

This is obviously not a conventional method at all. Like I said, I find it intriguing when it works.

He seems to have a lot of short priced horses among his selections. I'm only guessing, but I would imagine that the favorite and the 2nd favorite are in his top five selections a very large portion of the time.

Cutting out all of the listed combinations below, that include the favorite and 2nd favorite in the top three spots, would reduce the number of combionations by half, while at the same time eliminating most of the smaller payoffs.

If you compare the reaction to his current threads (i.e., virtually nothing negative) to what some people on here have (justifiably) been called out for in the past, there have been almost no "haters" (can we ban that self-pitying BS term though?). Ultimate Selector obviously loses on his wacky wagers, which he makes for no purpose and with no explanation while providing no insight, but he's pleasant about it and no one has said anything negative towards him. It's ridiculous to act like he's been persecuted unfairly because he's not.
