i just saw the price to win the series: Red Sox -$145-$100
that looks pretty cheap considering that the Tigers looked like a better squad than the Dodgers and the American League has home court.
i hate the Sox, but i love money

They play together as a team.
I haven't followed this season closely enough to comment on their Series chances.

The Cardinals are very good, and a worthy opponent for Boston.
In my book, they are hard to separate.
I definitely wouldn't be laying close to 3 to 2 on the Red Sox to win it all.
St. Louis offers a little value at plus money.
Starting pitching will determine the outcome.
Both teams are strong, and unquestionably the best from their leagues.
It will be fun to watch......

Boston beat 2 teams who essentially rolled over. Detroit was one smarter managerial decision away from winning the series in 4 or 5 games. Now, this Cardinal team is the first team that Boston is playing who has heart. I dont believe Det or Tampa showed "guts" and "fight" they just rolled over when the going got tough.
Also, i think Lackey, whenever he pitches, is due for a "bounce" he pitched out of his brain and Det essentially rolled over for him and they werent fighting thru their ABs.
We will see, nobody giving Stl much of a chance, but you never know, stranger things have happened.
