BEL R8 8F T 10-14-2013
16:34 EASTERN PEBBLES S.. Purse $200;000

This looks like one very very competitive race.

:2: with Johnny V up at anything close to the 12-1 ML has got to be a bet but this thing looks super tough. Being on the inside I don't like. Track record holder for 5F at Toga?

Chad Brown has the unknown factor, at least for me, the foreign horse in the :3:

:5: has to be a live Longshot? :6: Working out well, it's Mott......GR 3 Winner

If they go fast enough, the :7: might gobble them up late. I think the :1: might be in as a rabbit for the :1a: . I guess if one scratches, we will know.

This should be interesting.

:2: :5: :7: :1a:

Looks like lots of early pace to me, setting up for off the pace runners. Even with 3 MTO entries. The :3: has by far the best numbers, the :7: is my choice for best closer and the :8: is my top in class. Those will be my top picks and played accordingly to their odds.

I had the :5: in the last after a long layoff and it was a tough beat. Ill stick with him again coming off pace with enough speed ahead. .

I love 1st time imports, especially if they ran well against graded stakes competition. Automatic play for me on the :3:.

Just got back home to see the :7: is a scratch, so I went exacta :3: :8: with :3: :8: :5: . Using the :5: as my price/closer.

New rule. If Ralph says it's going to be competitive

Play a low priced horse

Thanks for playing...........

The 8 was brilliant last time on a dead speed day, holding 2nd on a day when it was really tough to do so on the front end.

Yep. I had the same thing in my notes, but I needed Chad's horse to be part of the exacta.

I used her in pick 3s and 4s but singled the grey entry in the 2nd to last race and got beat by a 20-1 shot and lost it all. I also tossed the horse who finished 2nd because i thought that if the winner dueled her, she might stop, i needed the 4 or 5 'underneath" the 8 with no 6s but the 6 finished 2nd and beat all my exotics.
