records like that are meaningless, I dont think Pat Day was riding $14,000 claimers racing for $57,000 purses for most of his career

I don't think anyone would argue that. Velazquez has a Kentucky Derby, 2 Belmont wins and 10 Breeders cup wins. Dominguez has 3 Breeders Cup wins.... Dominguez did lead in earnings over from 2010-2012 but overall I don't think there is any doubt Johnny V has been the better of the two.
