Hello All! For Saturday, 10/12, here are the tracks and races on Slew's mind:
Belmont - 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Gulfstream - 7
SantaAnita - 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
Keeneland - 2,4,5,6,9
Woodbine - 4,5,7,8,9
Calder - 9
Meadowlands - 1,2,5
Parx - 7,8
Friday's Keeneland listing certainly had 'Place-itus', including our Key Horse Madame Giry. I just viewed the replay and it looked as if she was waiting on horses once she gained the lead. I do hope some of you backwheeled her for a very nice prize.
For Saturday, we have another Key Horse running:
Za Approval - Bel ( 7) GP 12/08/12 # 5
We have been following Za Approval for a while and he certainly has not disappointed. This son of 2004 HOTY Ghostzapper was second behind Wise Dan in his last start north of the border in the Woodbine Mile (Gr. I). He now drops to what is most likely a more realistic level for him, especially at this point in his career. Mr. Rosario is back and he climbs aboard for a reunion, having ridden Za to a win and a place in the sunshine state last year. I'll be thrilled to get 3-1 on him...especially if he prevails!
