RACE 2: :3: :3: HOKES HOPE can stalk speedy (4)SANTO GATO and inherit the lead entering the stretch.

1st ($6.60)

RACE 3: :2: CROWN'S PATH now is a turf runner but he can handle synthetics (won a $125.000 stakes routing over Woodbine polytrack). With several speed horses in the field a hold up horse can win it. After a fine summer (1st > 2nd > 2nd > 1st) he runs today for a 29% first of the claim trainer. Will save ground and try to finish fast.

R4: big puzzle. :5: RICHIES SWEETHEART won with very high figure for a 2 year old in May (59 Beyer) on polytrack. Then went to a dirt stakes and was bumped at the start (a race to delete). Finally she went to a route stakes and ran the first 12f like if running a sprint (22.3 > 45.2 > 1.10....).Today she drops from the Hymalayas to 30k and has a shot to wire this field.... but maybe she was just a precocious filly. Trainer 32% route to sprint...

R5: :5: COMMERCIAL FLIGHT is by a 9,5f grade 1 router out of a stakes winner mare over a mile, by a top sprinter: a pedigree with enough stamina for the mile and good speed. This colt showed an amazing turn of foot in Kentucky Downs (the right place to prepare Keeneland) after entering the home stretch very wide. This high closing ability can be lethal against inexperienced runners of more quality.

This 5th race is such a tough race.

Good call on the :5:

Who would have thought she'd be setting slow fractions ?

In Kentucky she started fast but the jockey held her up and the filly didn't protest, she's easy to rate. Today's ride was outstanding anyway, and lucky in the photo.

:4: took a bump on the head-on when he was asked to chase down your :5:.

ward goes hot-cold but this is a race the 4 can hold form together, decent 2yo mdn to keep in mind for next out.

R6: Last opportunity to :9: JUMP FOR KITTEN, proven router in rising form, dropping to restricted claimers and with a 5 pound apprentice.

R7: I like a 90 Beyer for a horse that runs on polytrack for the first time, and :3: TELL ALL YOU KNOW did it. He's got some back class with that big win in a Gulfstream allowance and after the pass from a 24 Beyer to a 90 the horse should have had a bounce, just 3 weeks later. The Beyer dropped to 83 but he ran a hell of a race and won. This horse has upside on this surface and fighting speed is great here at 6f. Interesting longshot.

2nd ($18.60 - 9.00)

R8: this field is a claimer in disguise of allowance. Well bred :8: TERFAASHAH pulled in her second start and has issues but she's training great in all kind of surfaces and might wake up today.

3rd ($10.00)

missed the break, pity!

R9: :5: FAWAAREK is by Smart Strike (10th in the Top 100 Turf stallions) out of top class Golden Apples (triple gr.1 on turf). Golden Apples was 2nd in her debut on heavy ground, but won by 8 lenghts 13 days later. Three of FAWAAREK sixters have run, all three were debut winners. Her trainer is a decent 16% with first time starters and debuting over a mile. She might honor her sixters and win with her first bullet.
