Hello All! For Sunday, 10/06, here are the tracks and races on Slew's mind:
Belmont - 2,3,5,7,8,9,10,11
Monmouth - 2,5,6,7,9
Gulfstream - 1,2,6,7
SantaAnita - 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9
Keeneland - 4,5,7,8,9
Woodbine - 1,6,7,8,9
Parx - 3,5,6,7,8,9
We're back from a short vacation on the not-so-high seas only to find some surprising results over the last week...including today.
For tomorrow however, we find that a Slew Key Horse is making an appearance at Keeneland:
Hard Not to Like - KEE ( 8) GP 01/05/13 # 10
In 25 words or less: Hard Not to Like, a daughter of the tough as nails Hard Spun won the Marshua's River Stakes - Gr. 3 in January, then couldn't follow it up. But that race was a very tough win so it is no surprise at all that the young filly might backtrack on her form after such a tough run. We have been looking for signs that Michael Matz has found the magic rub to get her back into form. This Grade I doesn't appear to be the toughest of fields, so we'll watch and see how she responds.
We are looking for a dig-in type of performance. Weather permitting...even if the dirt is fake.
