good call

Thmx. It is nice to have compliments. I forget to do that but it is nice. I've
quit playing to bet winners and now I bet to make money. I bet the last two
races because of value and confidence in my selections.

You are the only one on here who I noticed had Bull Dozer in the 6th.

That horse was my pick too, but I didn't feel confident enough to pull the trigger with a wager.

Races 6,7,8 i had some weird dumb luck on just quickly capping them, but there wasn't enough for a confident bet. Enough to make me 2nd guess, because the 6,7,8 .pick 3 paid $490 for .50cents :D :bang:  !
I would have had to add more horses to get it to $2 lol

That's OK. not my style of play and for ever 1 LUCKY DAY :bang: lol, I would burn through a bankroll playing like that and taking a lot of 'stabs'.
I more than hit my goal for the day, as it was, but no big hits.

I guess it's better than my 9th race mental bet where I was humbled back to down to earth.

another note on the 6th Race =

:7: Villandry had a trip that made him look more explosive than he probably is. He was saving ground (ran 23 less feet than Bull Dozer), and saving horse - he didn't get free to make a move until others had used horse and it was too late.

But Villandry's visually impressive turn of foot was backed up on paper. He ran the final furlong in 12.03 Seconds (Half a second faster than Bull Dozer's final furlong 12.56 seconds).

Worth watching that replay again. I know I have to form an opinion 1 way or the other on what I think about the :7: VILLANDRY and his late run.

Have not gone over a polytrack or KEE database, but those are nice fractions for 7furlongs on the polytrack.

I doubt it will be a valuable thing - Usually visually impressive late runs are overbet. - still, thought it was a neat footnote.
