Given that possibly no one on the current Tide team is better than their counterpart on the Bronco's (a couple may be even), I would say that if the Bronco starters played the entire game, the point differential would probably be 60.

On Sunday Night Football, the studios guys were talking about Manning and the Broncos. Tony Dungy, who coached Manning when the Colts won the Super Bowl, said that Manning and the Broncos are still improving, and it will be another month before they reach their full potential.

Haven't we seen this Denver-like act before? In 2007? And in 1998? Ultimately, it didn't end well either time. At least the 2007 Patriots got to the Super Bowl. Vikings didn't even get to the NFC title game.

Come playoff time, the pinball type scores fade away. Still have to play defense.

Even the 99 Rams were lucky to get past Tampa....although they did have a solid defense.

Problem is identifying a team with a good/great defense who can peak around playoff time....it doesent appear atm that SF fits into that category (I actually thought the 2011 team had more fangs than last years SB team)
Still not entirely sold on SEA as far as them being an "elite" defense, but I could very well be wrong.

A Bama vs Jacksonville game may be even more interesting.

BAMA + 17.5

article: "..even though the Jags are awful and 0-4, they would still be big 17.5-point favorites over Alabama."

:D:D This fantasy game would take crazy action. Bama fans would be taking BAMA!
Many sports fans would be convinced that Bama would at least be close... Many sharps would be looking to take the Jags if there was any line movement.
Would be wild.
