Thanks.....thought the :4: had a bit more run in himALANDTON towered over the field but hangs like a painting all the time unless he gets the lead early. he had a perfect trip and could not get the sherbet. the horse didn't figure to be anywhere near the lead either.

these have always been my favorite types of races because all the pace numbers make ALANDTON look like a cinch and they seem to run second most of the time.

i couldn't see that one losing. that horse might be off the board once in 60 races. that's the kind you want to bridge jump. but the guy that is betting the 20 pieces is on horses that are almost favored to be off the board.
