Nice call CJ - on TVG, he goes against the 1-5 shot and not only beats him, drubs him.

Broadway Empire....nice call!

Broadway Empire is a monster, he was ten in front in the Canadian Derby and pulled himself up going 1 3/8ths.
He gets loose in front and hes pulling all the way.
Win 1 for Canada and Turf Paradise
Done everything right since he dominated in his maiden score.
I really am looking forward to seeing where tino wants to go next with this horse, holy... I don't even know what to say now.
So thrilled

Thanks Tom! Rich Perloff was great, and went out of his way to help me out. Of course the one time I do pick a winner, the horse pays nearly 4 times more to show!

Hi:
I bet this but don't understand the payout. I made a win, place, and show bet and then made a win only bet. I got $8.80, $4.20 and $30.00. Was the $30.00 a payoff from the win bet or the show bet?

Thanks

I thought Rich did nice job interviewing you....he is my favorite of all the TVG guys, him and Gino.

Your hard work is paying off.....

Youtube clip anyone?

If nobody else has it, I'll try tomorrow. It was pretty brief, just a few minutes in the paddock and some of that is just audio as they put up race graphics.

$275K in show pool on Departing

I wonder how it feels to have that much on the line and see your horse get passed going from 3rd to 4th a few yards before the finish....

Very cool.

If it comes out, put it up on youtube.

Did you get to talk pace figs at all ?

Goes on TVG... most would play it safe, you beat a 1-5 shot!

They should have you up more often.

Wonder if it was one person? Either way, some people had some serious cash on that horse. Watching live, on the turn, it was obvious he wasn't winning. With an 1/8th to go it was obvious the 2 was going to pass him for 3rd.

Thanks. Just talked about the race today and that the winner had TFUS speed figures that were competitive with the chalk, and would also have the jump on him early. I was there because I live here, don't get too many big races at Remington.

Did Departing come out of the race OK?

The jockey rode him like he was on Secretariat. One thing I would have mentioned if I had more time was that I didn't like the post and the fact he would probably be caught wide early. Not only was he wide on the first turn, he was wide on the 2nd. The horse was best on paper, but not 6-8 lengths best like he was ridden.

It is also VERY possible the rail was the best part of the track yesterday.

I just reviewed the charts and I tend to agree, but I'm less familiar with those horses etc...

"TIMEFORM US ANALYST"

 Nice.

Looked comfortable in front of the camera. And you really did promote the longshot winner on the competitive Timeform US speed figs. Well done.
