Holy Classic is the 0 for 45 maiden (claimer) who has been burning win bet money at the Chicago tracks.
New York has their own Holy Classic. That would be Stock Fund, who's running in Belmont's 11th today. "Only" 21 starts, this 4 year old Stonesider filly has run second 10 times, including each of her last three starts. In her last 8 starts, she's gone off at odds of 10-3, 9-4, 5-2, 8-5, 9-4, 1-2, 9-2 and 1-1. Based only on figures, she fits. But what would make one believe that TODAY is the day she graduates? And one doesn't figure to get much reward for that risk.
