#6BELLE OF THE FLEET:Has done nothing wrong in her 1st two starts. Was high on her in both but I made note towait until she stretches out. Thebackbreeding on this one leads to Oratorio who is a champion sire in Europewhose offspring typically run the longer route distances. Beat a runner in last who came back to win aMSW next out. Could be any kind.

#1FASCINATING:Kin to 1.3 million Bodemeister. Wascoming on well in both the DMR DEB and the MSW two back. Was hindered in the MSW by the slow earlyfractions and the top two went wire to wire. Was probably best late in the DMR DEB but just ran out of time. Should improve here.

Two runawaywins in the last three starts for this 4 year old gelding. Only loss in that stretch was to Soi Phet,who has since come back to run 3rd in the G1 Awesome Again. 7th from last came back to winridden out for Baffert with a 104 Beyer (Tiz the Truth). Mike Smith got to know him in last. Two decent drills since that race. Should bepressing the pace.

Interesting spot for this runner. He was eliminated when he was steadied badly in the final 1/16 last out. Despite the two out of the money efforts in the U.S. these top connections try this tough spot. This runner beat the likes of Cirrus des Aigles in ’11, the year that one won Euro HOY honors (and winner of 4 million).

Closer has won a couple of times at this distanceand is 3 for 5 in the money on the SA turf course. Gomez stays after running a close 4thlast time out at 18-1 on the DMR synth. Paceof the race certainly benefits a runner who can pass them in the lane. Trainer having a tough year but has been 2ndthree times already at the meet. Gomezis a big factor.

Definitely the one to beat but will get seriouspressure from the rail horse (especially since it is one of two for Carava).Was on the rail in last two. Should be tough but overbet.

PICK 6 COMMENTS
#6 and #7 are certain adds. #5 is an easy runner to add, as well, basedon the win last. Would use #1Anythingscookin as a flyer in case #7 tries to rate behind him. Wire chance??

Makes his 3rd start on the grass and ran basically the same race in first two tries. Exits a serious key race. Winner came back to upset allow foes on Thursday at 5-1. Runner-up and 6th came back to win in MSW company at 11-1 and2-1 at SA and CD (78, 86 Beyers). Dam won two of three on the grass. Likely sits off the pace and makes a late run in the lane. Should be the one to beat.

Always runs a competitive race. Was in with a bit tougher in last and was beaten only 1 ¾. Has been in the money 3 of 6 on SA dirt track. Four runners from last race came back to run in top 2.

Beat many of these in last in a good effort. Is zero for five on dirt which is the only reason he isn’t the top choice. Trainer had this one early 2012. Should be a major player.

Takes drop in class but has been at this level manytimes. Off very slowly 2 back and that costher a better placing. Front wraps wenton for last 2. Trainer 16% on majorclaiming class drops and last time he went from 25k to 12k was in May at BHPand he won at 13-1. Sits cozy 3rdbehind need the lead speed. Great trip.

Expensive runner beaten twice at 3-5. 1st in debut was 2nd in 75k stakes at RP next out. All sprint on the dam female tree (Smoke Glacken and Smokey Glacken).

#6 PRINCESS OF SYLMAR

Fantastic filly has won 8 of 10 in her career and is 6 of 7 this year. Her only loss this season was to Close Hatches when that runner was able to go wire to wire. Winner of 4 straight Grade 1 races and easily ran past Royal Delta in the Beldame last out. Royal Delta, also in here, won this race last year and has earned nearly 5 million. Pace of the race sets up for her and the fact that Royal Delta will press Beholder and both Mott and Pletcher have two help set up her late run. Classy!

#3 CLOSE HATCHES

Another three-year old and the only one to beat the top choice this year. Absolutely blew the doors off of Dreaming of Julia in the Mother Goose. That Pletcher filly was coming off of a 22 length win in the GP Oaks and a narrow 4th to top choice and Beholder in the Ky Oaks. Beat a very good looking, previously undefeated runner for Hollendorfer in last, Sweet Lulu. Has the look of a filly moving in the right direction for one of the top trainers in the country. Can win!

#4 ROYAL DELTA

Won this race for fun last year as the favorite when she went wire to wire. Things will be different on the front end this time around with Beholder in the race. Really looked flat in the stretch in both of her losses since coming back from Dubai World Cup. Had no punch trying to catch 1st time stakes winner, Funny Proposition, 4 back. Had no response for Princess of Sylmar in last. She’s still very dangerous.

#5 BEHOLDER

Been in the exacta in all 10 of her starts since her debut. 4 wire to wire wins in last 5 starts and only loss was a tough defeat in the Ky Oaks. Certainly has the home court edge having won 5 of 6 here at SA. She doesn’t have a route win in which she didn’t go wire to wire and that won’t be lost on Mott when he sends Royal Delta to challenge her. Becomes lethal if not pressed. Tough filly to fade.

#2 AUTHENTICITY

Should be a bit of a price, even in this small field, as the top 4 will get all of the money. However, she is not a bad flyer in here. She is a classy G2 winner and wasn’t disgraced by either Beholder or Royal Delta in the last two. In addition, she might just sit the trip of the race. Likely 3rd behind the top two speedsters. Has a few blazing works at SA since her 2nd to Beholder. Might be a stubborn foe late.

#1 STREET GIRL

The most appealing thing about this filly is the fact that she is the only pure closer in the race. If the race completely falls apart, this one will be rolling in from 20 or so behind. Stumbled and still nearly got to Close Hatches in the Cotillion. Form is good right now but she appears to be just slightly below the main players class-wise.
