While I'm on the road, NONE of this s**t is funny. Not a day goes by that I don't witness drivers talking or texting. They pose a danger to me and if I get the opportunity I will bust them.

Oh, I agree, 100%. I'm sure we could swap stories about close calls.

In CA, it is illegal to talk on a cell with it in your hand. Same with texting. If the local law enforcement agencies would give me a commission, I would be rich.

NYS, in it's infinite wisdom, has decided to spend a ton of money by puttingup digital signs all along the Thruway reminding driver's not to text while driving and that the new law has a fine attached. Also, some will give information about the nearest Exit of rest area where we can safely text.

SO, to stop us from texting while driving, they will bombard us with "text messages" all along the highway.
