Is it just me, or are none of the You Tube embeddings working?
All I see is a black screen on them.
I just posted one, and it worked once, then went to black.

Make certain that your flash plug-in and javascript (not java) are enabled in your browser.

Also, some websites require that cookies be enabled before they will show a flash/web video.

For some reason, Flash Player was disabled in Chrome.
Chrome is fast catching up to FF for being downright annoying.

in older versions of chrome it would disable it on purpose if it crashed too many times or malware etc........ not sure if it does it now.

how to check it out.........above.

That worked for a while, now, no sound on You Tube.
I get sound on other sites, ie, Yahoo Music, HRRN......but YT is silent.
I have the macromed version of Flash enabled.

Is Flash requied - seems to be an unreliable utility - why can't I use Media Player, which works all the time.

I do see an X next to the speaker icon....but it can't be changed.....

Also here.........try the one above first.......

The reason why this is an issue is because the scroll bar ONLY appears when scrolled over! So all of us sillys clicking away on the megaphone image get nothing unless the volume is increased on the scroll bar first! And you need to scroll over it to see it then and increase the volume before you have the ability for a click to mute/unmute the device via the megaphone image. Duhh.....tricky little scroll bar, silly little me :)

1. Scroll over megaphone image to see scroll bar
2. Increase volume
3. Click on megaphone image to mute/unmute - viola, easy peasy sound :)

volume already on full.
I went to FF and there, you can click on the X and the sound came back.
I am finding a lot of times Chrome just is not up the task - like DRF.com, even here, it can't change folders unless you go to the window with an arrow - the "greened out" In box link won't work.

Takes three browers to git 'er done.

This was posted there tonight, Ralph.
Once I fixed it in FF, it worked in Chrome, all the time.
I wanted to post it there to help out those having trouble but I couldn't figure out how to reply or register. Thanks for the help! got my 'cappin music back!

Thanks for your patience, all. We have been aware of this issue. It should be resolved soon.

While this issue is live, please try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, or the workaround that rdhuston posted:

The mute will keep coming back for each video you watch, but you can get your sound back each time by pausing the video, right clicking the little X by the speaker symbol and then clicking the speaker symbol itself. Then start the video again. Kind of a pain, but at least you can hear the videos until the problem is fixed.
