France bans child beauty pagents

The French Senate voted early Wednesday to ban beauty pageants for children under 16 – and to impose up to two years in prison and steep fines for adults who try to enter children into such a contest.

Probably a good idea although the punishment is a little stiff.

Thank goodness France solved all their other problems before tackling this issue.

Twenty-six percent unemployment for those under age 25... and now they take the only job French kids are qualified for and can actually get. :(
