It will be interesting to find out if my son's school mentions this today.

I was going to say that I don't remember any of my schools mentioning it, until I read your Wiki post and saw it was enacted 2 years after my schooling days were over :)

Here's (http://www.constitutionfacts.com/?page=quiz.cfm&awesm=freedo.mw_p0D) a little test.

BTW, don't let your time spent in school get in the way of your education.

Ceremony at the WH today at 2:00 pm.
They will burn a copy of it and then all dance around the flames.

that question 3 was a trick question :)

I got 8 out of 10, apparently my fellow Oregonians average 7.18 out of 10, below the national average of 7.30

I also noticed the language is out of date on the test and only says "Man" and "He" instead of person.

Sorry, been hanging around my liberal grad school friends too long. :bang:

Eh, I got one of those. Did you take the Advanced Test? 38 out of 50 here...some of the later amendments tripped me up a bit.

Must be an easy test if you got ten out of ten.
Must be a really easy test. I got ten out of ten.

And here I thought everyone was celebrating only 6 more months to St. Patrick's Day!

Naw, only 4 1/2 months until Ground Hog's Day! :jump: Forget the question number, but missed the one about how long the president may serve, so only got 9 out of 10 right. No time now to take the advanced quiz, will give it a go later, right now have to get back to my handicapping, still have three tracks to go.

As Pat Robertson wrote, (He's 83 years old so I let him slide on some of the controversial things he says). in his book The New World Order (1991)

"Except for a brief interlude, the United States operated without a true central bank from the time of its founding under the constitution in 1789 until 1913,
a period of 124 years. We have only operated under a central bank for 78 years, a relatively short time."

Now that 100 years has gone by and since it is all about "money" when I add 124 years to 1913, I get 2037 and so that's my take on the constitution ...
