R1: :11: ALANDTOM is in good form, won big here and has won 3 for 4 turf claiming races. :6: FAITHOPE ran a big figure without blinkers last time and was in the money here in his two races over this special track.

NP & 1st ($7.60)

The Spaniard

R2: :3: APACHE PARK has a bright pedigree (mother graded stakes placed on dirt out of a good European turf sprinter -sixter of grade 1 winner on turf and dirt Deffensive Play), and his last workout is well above average for William Mott pupils. Maybe wins by raw class.

NP

R3: Bet down, :11: MONGOL BOSS should be in the exacta with a positive stretch out (5 > 6,5f). :1: TAP THE ADMIRAL, very nice turf pedigree top and bottom, and :6: SWEET PLATINUM, ready for his first time turf (20% win trainer) and cut back (26% win) complete the exacta shortlist.

R3: 1st ($3.20) & 3rd

The Spaniard

R4: by a El Prado stallion out of a Machiavellian mare (turf x turf) :2: DEVIOUS D'ORO ran a fine race first time turf (closed 12 lengths) and can go one better today. :8: VINTAGE STRIKE ran big first time routing on the green. :7: SANDSARITA drops from a tough stakes and is exacta shortlist.

4th - 2nd ($9.00 ) - NP

the $60 winner was so ugly on paper...

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 04:37 PM
R4: :7: PERSONAL DIARY by top turf stallion City Zip closed from the clouds (16 lengths) in her debut. This is a stiff 7f and the cut back from the mile seems ideal. Similar profile shows the favorite :9: LIEN ON KITTEN.

win & win & exacta box

3rd & 1st ($5.80)

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 05:07 PM
R6: :7: HERE'S JOHNNY is bred for the stretch out and proven against much tougher company in France. :6: SWEET DADDY, by good turf stallion Scat Daddy, can close for second.

2nd & 3rd

No way!

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 05:36 PM
R7: :8: ANCIL, with theese big last two Beyers on turf (96 > 102) looks like an unexposed horse over the green. :13: XBALANQUE is an improver and he's got a good pedigree for turf, can upset first time on the green. :7: REGALLY READY shows a fast 5f bullet (59.2B) may wake up today.

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 05:52 PM
R7: 2nd ($15.60 ) - 3rd ($4.00) - 4th

life is tough

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 06:09 PM
R8: :7: DEPECHE CHAT won this race last year after a similar layoff. The 47.3 near bullet indicates he's coming back in top form. :10: UTLEY always fires his best shot after a layoff (1st > 1st > 1st). :11: TREND last 3 Beyers on firm turf (90 > 92 > 90) puts him right in the money.

2nd & 3rd

the same music the whole afternoon

two bullets left and I need a killing...

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 06:36 PM
R10: :9: SUNTRACER is the stayer in good form with the best figures. By a 12f turf stallion out of a mare by a 12f turf and dirt stallion, outsider :6: POTOMAC RIVER is in top form and can upset the exacta first time marathon. :7: SIDE ROAD is the other stayer.

The Spaniard
09-14-2013, 06:57 PM
R11: Luis Jurado is 2 for 2 in this meeting, and maybe with :6: ROSSEE IS COZZE manages a 3 for 3.
