Not sure but I've seen the line about 600 times on sports center.....may weather -260.......seems to easy I like the other way and couldn't pick out the guy money is fighting in a 2 person police lineup.......true story......

I know nothing about Boxing and havent seen one second of either one of these guys fights (if they were on free tv, i might have seen them, but that seems like a stretch) but the "rumor" is that this challenger is pretty good. And, he seems angry and hungry.

I know Money May is Money May, but he seems like Mr T in Rocky who kept yapping and yapping. Remember the Scene where Apollo was sitting on Rocky's couch watching Mr T on tv and he said softly under his breath "yeah, just keep talking pal, just keep talking".

First off let me say that there is no way I would bet this fight (or any boxing match for the most part) and there is also no way I would pay to see this match on pay for view.
I would think Mayweather by decision at −141 is the safest bet. I would maybe look at the fight does not go the distance at +230 with a smaller bet if you think Alvarez has a chance because if he is going to do it it would probably be a KO. No way he outpoints Mayweather is the conventional wisdom and you are covered if Mayweather ko's him.
I really don't care that much about it but I wouldn't mind seeing Alvarez knock the heck out of him.

I think Alvarez is exactly the kind of fighter that can beat Mayweather. He's bigger, stronger, presses the attack, and goes to the body very effectively.

The problem is his defense. He's open to be hit (especially from the lead rights Mayweather is so adept at). He's not very good defensively at all. I can't see any way Alvarez can box with Mayweather unless Floyd has suddenly gotten old over night. Canelo is going to be getting nailed so much trying to get to Floyd he may get beat up before he even has a chance to wear Floyd down and nail him with a big shot.

I'm rooting for Canelo, but unless his defense has improved or he lands a huge shot early by semi-accident, he's going to get outpointed and may even get beat up towards the end of the fight.

I follow boxing as much as I follow any other sport and I just don't see any value in Alvarez. I think he is one helluva fighter but at +230 I don't think its worth a wager.

Like I said in the other thread on this fight... I follow boxing as close as any sport out there... Alvarez is one helluva fighter but there is no way I would ever bet him at the price the books are offering. At a minimum he should be +400. The line being this low means nothing. Its making people second guess themselves and possibly inducing a bet on Alvarez, which IMO is a mistake. I bet Mayweather online... Unfortunately my online book limits action on fights... and honestly I cant find a local who is taking the fight. Should of flown to Vegas.

That person must be blind... Canelo admitted after the fight he didn't come into the fight with the right game plan and could never hit Mayweather. Mayweather countered the shit out of Canelo and landed solid blows. Canelo on the other hand looked lost and afraid to be aggressive.

Whoever said Canelo got robbed, you can safely place on ignore for the next decade. The 116-112 was generous but possible. The 114-114 score wasn't.

If Mayweather got knocked out in the first round I would have applauded Alvarez... I could honestly not care about me winning anything... Mayweather is one of the greatest of all time... And for someone of his statue to only be anywhere from a -240 to a -280 favorite vs Alvarez was absolutely ridiculous.

Good call, im watching a clip of some of the fight on ESPN sportscenter and you can see in the Canelo's face he was intimidated. If Canelo had confidence and was angrier, he might have won.
