I'm amazed that such a young girl (22) is able to get so many good horses / big owners. I'll give her credit, she wins, so obviously she knows what she's doing. But many trainers with a lot more experience than her don't get horses from the like of The Thoroughbred Corp. Perhaps SoCalFan can provide some insight.

gee,do you think her dad being RICHARD MULHALL(racing
manager for THOROUGHBRED CORP}has anything to do
with the quality of horses?

that being said, she has done a very good job.she does
have a touch with what distance and surface these horses
should race.

Indeed she does, it will be interesting to see what happens now that the Thoroughbred Corp is no more. Baffert will also have to find some more deep pockets.

Hopefully, somebody smart will tab her as their private trainer (if that's what she wants). Good luck to her enduring all the knives and Bafferts down the Derby Trail.

The previous hiring record we all know is pretty dismal for good female trainers. Jeanine who? BC winner (who trains her own horses, Mr. Baffert) with a tiny stable now, that's who.
