Interesting......my first thought when reading this was,

"what are they doing to these horses?"

then again, now they won't have to ship Tabasco and War Emblem over to San Francisco ..........the Wedding is off!

The human male is the only mammal that relies on blood flow to achieve an erection. I hope the Japanese realize that.

My first reaction on reading this was: Isn't 13 kinda young even for a horse? -- How much was he insured for? -- I wonder if anything is being covered up because of the publicity and outrage over what they did (and tried to cover up) to Ferdinand.
I wonder how Tabasco really died?

This is incredible. Ferdinand, Sunday Silence, and Tabasco Cat in less than a year. Something's amiss here.

I've heard in the U.S. other horses warm up the mare proie to the stallion going for it. Maybe the stallion does it all in Japan?

Maybe they figure the projected stud income for the next few years, and the cost of caring for him, vs. the amount he's insured for, and decide it's time for a heart attack.

I'm guessing the Japanese have adpoted our culture in more ways than one. I guess there are tons of diehard TJ Lundy supporters over in the Land of the Rising Sun that believe what he did to Alydar was the right thing to do.

This has got to stop. You would think after all these happenings, American owners would stop shipping their horses over there. Think about the horse for a second here, guys.

If anyone finds out the name of the mare, let me know! I want to bet some of the offspring in sprints!

OK, lets be a little realistic here. The Japanese are a bit starved for quality stallions, are they not? I doubt they'd be offing a young stallion like Tabasco Cat for some insurance money (unless he couldn't produce)

In any event, we're all just probably jumping to conclusions here. Tabasco Cat probably just died of natural causes (like no man has ever died during sex, right??? LOL)
