My selection would be #1 ACTUARY'S SON who is listed at 6/1.

Showed speed and fade move in the last which was 1st off a layoff. Moves up in claiming price but the trainer does very well with these moves so that is a plus.

0/3 at the track but looks like he may be ready to end that streak.

I actually like the #2 Deadline Dude a bit at 12/1. He is also, 2nd off layoff. Late closing style won't help, but most of the horses in the field I don't like The 3 will be overbet because of Dale Baird. the 4 and 5 are both coming off races that were on a golden rail track, which benifitted them, and will make it a little tougher today with a fair track.
