I like harness racing! Unfortunately, I grew up in Southern California and our harness racing tradition (which was apparently once quite strong, with meets at Santa Anita and Hollywood Park, crowds of 25,000, and Roy Shudt calling the races) was ruined by race-fixing scandals, so I never really got the chance to fall in love the with the sport.

Now if I can only get some of you folks on the east coast to appreciate the fun of a quarter horse race!

One of my many pet peeves is the hyphenated female names for trainers and jockeys, I don't want to have to keep up with people's personal lives, I just want correct data to handicap with, same thing with tracks changing track codes due to sponsors.

i was just there last Friday. my wife likes to play the slots. i go downstairs to the sports book and play the tracks. i live in west view(5 mins from the rivers :) ) so its about 30 mins on Rt 79 south. it can get crowded on the big days.
