British broadcaster David Frost has died at age 74. I chiefly remember him from the satirical show That Was The Week That Was in the 1960's (as well as similar live nightclub shows that he recorded), and also his series of post-resignation interviews with Richard Nixon.

TWTWTW was a great show!
I remember the show but was too young to appreciate it. I recall my parents really getting a good laugh while watching it.
I didn't understand a lot of the minutia of it, but the top news stuff I got.

He also hosted "The Frost Report," which was very big in the U.K. but rather flopped in the U.S. market as I recall.
I was in school in the U,K. and the Frost Report (English version) was not to be missed. I recall the first episode I ever watched. It was titled simply: "Familiarity Breeds," and was about birth control.
He was hysterically funny (as well as poignant) on that show.
Kind of a cross between Graham Kerr (The Galloping Gourmet) and Andy Rooney.
